Definition: In the Bible, "payment methods" refers to a collection of ways or means by which people pay for goods, services, and events. In the Old Testament, this concept appears in Leviticus 20:1-6 where God tells Moses how to give credit for an offering made on the altar (in Deuteronomy 12:34). This is also a key phrase used in Deuteronomy 17:9 to describe the process by which payment needs to be recorded, called "payment methods."
