Definition: The word "Arjuna" is a title given to one of the greatest philosophers in Indian history. It means "man of many virtues." The title was bestowed upon Arjuna after he became an expert on Mahayana Buddhism. The definition goes like this: "To be one of those who has attained the highest intellectual and spiritual states, that is to say, wisdom, compassion, understanding, freedom from attachment, knowledge of the unities of reality, the essence of all things, and so forth."
