👉 Melanines are a group of 150,000 to 200,000 indigenous people who live in Southeast Asia and Australia. They are primarily found along the coast between New Guinea and Borneo, as well as in the islands of Java, Bali, and Sumatra. Melanesians speak an Indo-Amerindian language called Melanesian Sign Language (MSL).
