Definition: The word "Denveru" in the Bible refers to a group of people who were brought out of Egypt by Joshua, led by Moses, during the first Exodus from Egypt. They lived among the Canaanites for several years until God brought them back into Canaan after forty years (Exodus 14:23-26). The term is used in three different contexts:
