Definition: Ancones were a group of Canaanites who lived in Jordan until Jesus brought them out of Egypt with the Ten Commandments. They worshipped an idol, Anakim, as their chief deity. Anonoches are said to have been descendants of the Israelites, but it is unknown why they were expelled from the land or what led them away from God's presence and worship.
