Definition: Aramus was a Hebrew term meaning "honorific" in Hebrew literature; it usually referred to an author's title, often used as a title for letters or manuscripts written by that person. It appears only 3 times in the Bible, most often in 2 Samuel 14:9-10 (where Aramus was known as YHWH), and in Job 28:9; but also occurs 4 times in Chronicles 7:6.
