Definition: Amphistomum is a plant genus in the family Aizoaceae. It's commonly known as the "lawn-plant." This genus includes species with a single, large flowering stalk, called an spike, usually around 30 to 45 inches long. The main stem of each spike bears at least four leaves on it.
