Definition: Abaddon was a demon god in Christianity who appeared to Peter as an obelisk with a face in flames, on the eve of Jesus Christ's crucifixion (Mark 14:32). He is said to be a tempter, and is often seen as evil, wrathful and sinister. He is associated with the Book of Revelation where he is represented as Satan or the Devil.
