👉 Vaginectomy is a surgical procedure where the cervix (the tube that connects the uterus to the vagina) is removed. It's often used in women who have previously had a vaginal birth but now want to avoid complications like infection or bleeding during childbirth. This can be done through an incision on the outside of the cervix, and sometimes also through a surgical procedure called a "cervical canal reconstruction" which involves opening the cervix slightly to make room for the uterus to be
