👉 Paleozoanthus is a type of fossil plant that emerged during the Cambrian period, approximately 545 million years ago. It was a member of the Sargasso protozoa family and lived in marine environments. The fossilized remains were found at the site of the Paleozoan Chalk Formation in the Netherlands, which is now known as the Eifel Formation.
