👉 Tetralogy is a rare genetic condition in which an individual has three normal limbs, but also one or more abnormal fingers and toes. This condition can be caused by mutations in the gene responsible for development of these fingers and toes or it can result from an inherited defect in the development of other body parts. Tetracygons are two sets of three normal limbs with a single abnormal finger (or toe) present, which may or may not be part of the tetralogy.
