👉 Sacro-coccygean is a term used to describe the area of the female pelvis that separates the pelvic floor muscles from the lower part of the uterus. This area is called the sacrocoxial region and is located below the pubic symphysis, which is located just above the level of the clitoris. The sacrococcygean region is also known as the caudal sacrocoxial region.
