👉 The LiSA (LISA Pathfinder) project is an international mission designed to test the technologies necessary for a future space mission called LISA (Laser Interferometer Space Antenna), which aims to detect gravitational waves in space. Conducted by the European Space Agency (ESA) with contributions from NASA and other partners, LiSA involved launching a pair of identical spacecraft into a formation flying configuration in space. These spacecraft, equipped with ultra-precise instruments, were used to measure the minute test masses' movements caused by gravitational waves and other perturbations.
