Corbin, in Hebrew, means "God's messenger." It is a term used in several biblical passages to describe Jesus or His followers as messengers sent by God.
In the book of Acts (Book of John), Peter and Andrew met with a group of fishermen who were traveling around Judea. Afterward, they gathered together and told them about the miracle of the bread and the healing of the sick that Jesus had done in their towns. They went off to preach this to everyone in the region. One of these people was named Cornelius, whom Peter met later.
According to Acts 10:24-28, at a meeting they held at Pentecost, Peter preached about Jesus and began to encourage them to follow Him. Afterward, Peter went out with Cornelius as he traveled through the region. He said, "I have seen Your signs (i.e., miracles) and have believed [unto this] because of what You performed on the bread." This verse tells us that Jesus' followers were encouraged by Peter's testimony to believe in Him.
The word 'Corbin' is used here as a term for someone who receives a sign, or miracle from God. In the context of Acts 10:24-28, it refers to Peter and Cornelius as messengers sent by God to share His miracles with others.
