👉 Tresslet, also known as a trefoil knot, is a 3-dimensional knot that has been studied in various fields such as mathematics, physics, and computer graphics. It is named after its shape resembling a tree trunk, which can be seen in the image below:  Tresslets are knots with 48 crossings, which makes them among the most complicated knot structures known to man.
