👉 Telomerization is a process in which a cell membrane, or any other biologically active substance, undergoes a chemical modification that makes it more permeable to substances. This process can involve the addition of a specific amino acid at the terminus of the protein molecule, or through the addition of a small group of molecules known as "transglutaminase" which cleaves the N-terminal portion of the protein. The resulting membrane is then able to transport and transmit substances more easily than the
