One time, my roommate decided to throw a surprise party for me at his apartment. To make it extra special, he invited all of us over, including our cat. Everyone arrived and got settled in before the party began. But there was one person who seemed like they were on the edge of being madly in love with their friend (who I happened to be a bit jealous of) during the party. It was clear from everyone's behavior that he couldn't help but be overly excited or overconfident, which made my roommate feel uncomfortable. So he decided to put on his best suit and tie, which was completely inappropriate for an evening at a party meant for friends. He even had his hair styled into a messy bun, which added to the overall chaos and discomfort. But just as I was about to go home, my cat came out of her hiding place and barked at him loudly, "Hey! Look what you did!" My roommate looked at me with a look of horror and confusion. I'm sure he had no idea that his friend's behavior was actually making everyone around him uncomfortable or that they were all secretly laughing at him. But hey, it was still pretty fun to see the ridiculous antics on display
