👉 In organizational psychology, a preorganization is a process in which an individual or group comes to terms with and accepts their identity as being part of a larger organization. This can include accepting that they have been assigned roles within the organization, or simply recognizing that they belong to it. Preorganizing can be seen as a way for individuals to navigate through the organizational hierarchy, understand the expectations and responsibilities of their position, and feel more comfortable in their role within the organization.
