👉 Nematoblastic is a medical term that refers to a type of blood cell called erythrocyte, which is normally found in the blood and is responsible for carrying oxygen throughout the body. However, when it becomes damaged or destroyed by an injury or illness, it can become non-functional or nematoblastic, meaning it cannot carry oxygen and may not be able to transport nutrients or other substances to vital organs. This condition is called haemolytic anaemia.
