My name is Elmo, and I'm a friendly little guy who lives on the bright side of New York City. I love to play with his friends and help them get through tough times. My favorite thing to do is show off my giant toy truck. But sometimes I make some trouble! One day, when Muppet Town was in a lot of trouble, Elmo couldn't find anyone to help him out. He tried asking everyone else but nobody was there. So he had to go it alone! One night, after all the other Muppets were asleep, Elmo decided to run around the town and scare some kids to get them to stop trying to steal his toys! It didn't work though, they kept getting in too close to him. But just when things seemed hopeless, Elmo suddenly spotted a friendly old lady sitting on a bench with a big box of treats. He ran over and gave her a little hug, and then he turned around and took the treats away from her and put them back into his toy truck. This is how I ended up saving Muppet Town from getting destroyed! It was an unexpected but awesome adventure for me and Elmo.
