👉 Imagine you have a box of chocolates and one of them is just as good as another, but it's not the same. This is what happens to us when we take the January 1st on New Year's Day. Firstly, imagine your whole year is like that box of chocolates - perfect and delicious all day long, until you open it at midnight on the first day of the year. You've had a great start to the year! However, if you let this box of chocolates stay sealed for too long, it starts to spoil. It becomes bitter and tasteless by the time it's opened on January 1st. This is what happens when we're not being careful about our New Year resolutions, or don't even have one. We end up feeling like a failure because our resolution hasn't worked out. But let me tell you something interesting - if we took this box of chocolates and sealed it away in a dark corner of our home for two weeks, it would be just as delicious as the original box! And that's why sometimes we make New Year's resolutions but end up failing miserably. It's like putting your dream house on sale and selling it before you even finish decorating!
