👉 Denticles are small, irregularly shaped teeth that arise from the bone and connective tissue of a tooth. They can appear on either side of the tooth, or they may be present in different locations along the length of the tooth. Denticles are generally not visible to the naked eye, but their presence can indicate any number of dental problems such as periodontal disease, dental caries, and malocclusion (misaligned teeth).
