👉 Arrhythmia, also known as atrial fibrillation, is a condition in which the heart's electrical system becomes irregular and can lead to sudden, severe chest pain, shortness of breath, and sometimes death. It occurs when the electrical signals from the atrium (the highest part of the heart) do not flow smoothly enough through the ventricles (the lower chambers of the heart). This rhythm is called atrial fibrillation or arrhythmia.
