I remember the day I met a friend who used this term—promitobates. You see, he was like a high school football player on the sideline—crazy for a play. Every time he took the field, every time he touched the ball, his teammates knew they'd be waiting for him on the end zone with a celebration. One day, I heard about this guy's obsession and asked him if we could grab a drink together. He was so enthralled by it all that he practically flew over to my house for a celebratory session. It was as surreal as watching him play his game of promissobates with friends on the sideline—unwilling to stop! Example Sentence: "I heard you guys were crazy about the football game, but I'm surprised you guys went all out during your celebratory session at my house. You really got everyone pumped up!" He said, grinning mischievously. This person's name was also used in a similar way as 'Promitobates.'
