👉 Sericolea is a genus of flowering plants in the family Apiaceae, native to North America and other parts of the Americas. They are commonly known as the common dogwood or the American dogwood. The genus contains around 100 species, with about 60 currently recognized. Sericolea flowers in the spring and summer, producing bright yellow flowers that bloom from mid-May to early June.
