👉 P2-like viruses are small, enveloped particles that were first identified in 1975 and have since been found in a variety of organisms including bacteria, viruses, and fungi. They consist of two capsids (capsular proteins) joined by a lipid envelope. P2-like viruses are highly infectious and can infect multiple host cells within a single cell.
