👉 Gyracanthocephala is a genus of pterosaurs, which includes several species from the group known as tyrannosauroids. These dinosaurs were primarily terrestrial and lived during the Late Cretaceous period (about 65 to 70 million years ago) in what is now Europe, North Africa, Asia, and parts of Australia. Gyracanthocephala had a long neck, powerful jaws, and could fly.
