👉 Enceladus is a moon located in Saturn's Kuiper Belt, approximately 32 astronomical units (AU) from Earth. It was discovered by the Soviet astronomer Aleksey Eshkov in 1978 and named after the Greek goddess of the underworld. Enceladus has an unusual composition: it contains a significant amount of hydrated water and ammonia gas.
