👉 Diplognatha is a genus of extinct marine reptile from the Late Cretaceous period (about 293 million years ago) in North America. Dipped on both sides, these creatures were known for their distinctive spiral bodies and had a long neck, which they used to hunt fish and sea creatures. They lived during the Late Triassic era, around 175-165 million years ago.
