👉 Ctenoceratina is a family of extinct reptiles that lived in the Mesozoic era (c. 68-54 million years ago). They were characterized by their elongated, flattened body shape and sharp-toothed jaws. The most famous example is the Cretaceous Tyrannosaurus rex, which was around 10 meters long and weighed about 3 tons.
