Definition: A look; a glance.
Alright class, settle down and listen close to me,
We’re tackling words today, for all the world to see!
The dictionary tells us, “A look; a glance,” you know,
But let's dig a little deeper, watch our understanding grow.
When we say "peer," it’s more than just a sight,
It's a sharing of glances, shining bright!
Think of two friends, side by side they stand,
Sharing a smile, or a helping hand.
A “peer” can also mean someone you know,
Like classmates in school, watching as you grow.
It’s like looking at your neighbors, near and far,
Observing their actions, beneath the star!
So "a look" and "a glance," are parts of what's true,
But “peer” is connection, between me and you!
Does that make sense? Any questions to share?
