What is the definition of Mortality? π π
The state or quality of being mortal.
Alright class, settle down, letβs take a look!
Youβve got the dictionaryβs definition β βthe state or quality of being mortalβ β and thatβs a good start, it's true. But let's dig a little deeper, shall we?
Mortality
, my dears, is a word quite grand,
It speaks to something very close at hand.
It means simply this, you see, itβs plain,
That πeverythingπ must eventually wane.
We all are mortal β that's a simple fact,
From tiny seedlings to a giant stack!
Itβs the knowledge of our limited time,
A beautiful truth in every rhyme.
Think about it: plants grow tall and bright,
Then wither slowly into fading light.
Animals live, they hunt and play,
But eventually, they slip away.
And just like them, we too will cease,
To find our final, peaceful release.
So
mortality
isnβt something to fear,
But a part of life, incredibly clear!
Does that make more sense now, my students dear? Do you have any questions about this important concept?
