Definition: Strength; power; might; force .
Alright class, settle down, let’s take a look!
That dictionary definition – “strength, power, might, force” – it gives us a piece of the puzzle, that’s true. But ‘craft,’ my dears, has a slightly different hue.
Think about it this way, don't you see?
"Craft" isn’t just brute strength, wild and free!
It’s more than
power
, a forceful display,
It's the skill you build in a thoughtful way.
A craft is a talent, a practiced art,
Something you learn with a dedicated heart.
Like weaving a tapestry, beautiful and bright,
Or shaping clay with skillful light.
It’s about
control
, precision and grace,
Bringing something new to its rightful place.
So while strength is important, it's not the whole key,
"Craft" means skill and mastery for you and me!
Does that make a little more sense, my students? Any questions before we move on?
