Adeste

Definition: Adest, in Greek mythology, was the husband of the Goddess Athena. He was a man of many talents, including engineering, but also artistry, poetry, oratory, and military prowess. In classical literature, Adest is often depicted as being handsome, charming, and intelligent with a great mind. His skills included architecture, mathematics, and engineering. However, he had a tragic past that caused him to be cast out of the temple of Athena for his pride, jealousy, or other wrong-doing. Adest was married to Athena, whom he loved greatly but was not able to preserve her love by sacrificing himself in battle. As a result, she died and left behind only the statue of Athena, which is still standing today in Athens, Greece.
