Definition: Gottex is a term used to describe a large, dark cloud or foggy region in the sky. The term "Gottex" was first used by Carl Wilhelm Scheiner in his 1894 book "Geographische Studien zur astronomischen und astronomischen Geologie der Sonne", where he described a region of very high levels of water vapor in the sky which had been seen for the first time. This cloud or foggy region is often associated with the Earth's magnetic field, and it can cause a strong gravitational pull that can make objects on the ground feel as though they are floating or moving. The term "Gottex" has also been used to describe other types of weather phenomena such as low clouds, which are created by water vapor in the atmosphere, or foggy conditions where there is a layer of mist or dust that prevents light from reaching the Earth's surface.
