Definition: It is a brand that was founded in 1975 by John Cuisinart, an English chef and home cook who also owned a successful restaurant chain called The Savoy in London. The brand provides cooking utensils and kitchen gadgets made from stainless steel, glass, plastic, and other materials. It sells its products through retailers such as Home Depot, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Amazon. In 2017, Cuisinart announced that it would be exiting the home goods business and selling its remaining brands, including 'Cuisinart', 'FridgeKing', 'SyrupBox', 'BakingBuddy' and 'MuffinMaster', to a newly formed company called Magoz. The brand continues to sell products under other names or in new markets.
