Example: "He was so non-visual that he could barely see a dime." (A person who isn't paying attention to the speaker.) Non-visionary is like having your nose stuck in a puzzle but not being able to read or interpret it. That's why we call it non-verbal, like when you can't feel anything at all! It's the kind of thing that makes people uncomfortable, even though they're trying to be nice and supportive.
