Definition: The term "breastplough" is a diminutive of "breadboard," which in turn comes from the Latin word "breviorum," meaning "with respect to bread." In Greek mythology, the goddess Hera was depicted with a large, plough-shaped breastplate and it is believed that she was the one who first used this tool for ploughing her own fields. The term has also been associated with the ancient Egyptians, where they were known as "breadboarders"
